Fire & Rain are a Kent-based acoustic duo formed by Neil Williams (electro-acoustic guitar, backing vocals) and his sister Anita Carver (main vocals). They play a range of numbers that are either written for acoustic guitar or have been re-arranged to work in that format. Artists covered include The Beatles, Joan Armatrading, KT Tunstall, Queen, Extreme, David Bowie etc........

The musical backgrounds of the duo vary greatly, with Neil being a familiar face on the Kent music scene, having been in bands such as Alter Ego, Prodigal Son, The Clintstones, Glam R Us, Heat, The Spacehoppers and Blackest Sabbath over the years. In contrast, Anita is a newcomer to the biz, except for a couple of gigs with Neil back in his first ever band, Quicksilver.

Fire & Rain can play venues of any size, from the smallest village pub to functions and festivals. They pride themselves in their professional but warm, friendly attitude, which enables them to relate to the audience, breaking down the barriers and building up a great vibe that leaves everyone with a smile on their face.

Rather than rely on soulless backing tracks, drum machines and samples, Fire & Rain prefer the purity and dynamics that a single acoustic guitar and vocals can give. Theirs is an honest sound, an essence which has been captured wonderfully well on their first demo recording.
