Recording Studio

Broadwood Music offers one to one tuition for electric and acoustic guitar and bass guitar for beginner, intermediate and advanceed level. All tuition either takes place with studio owner Nick Wood, in the recording studio environment where the opportunity is given for students to learn to play songs of their choice and, when happy, record their performances during lesson time, or by Ben Belville in a dedicated tuition studio where all amenities are on hand to give the student first class tuition.

Nick has been a guitarist for as long as he can remember. First picking up the guitar at 11 years old it took a bit of time to get going but, at the age of 15, he started to get into gutar greats such as Eric Clapton, Angus Young and Jimi Hendrix. Spurred on, he formed a band, Abstract, with some friends and had his first public performance at 17 years old. Since then he has played both guitar and bass for numerous bands over the years, including well know bands like The Mosquito's, Stranger, The Rainkings and more recently The Fecks.

Nick's main forte is rock style playing. Whether it's just rhythm style playing or blistering lead solo's you are after then Nick is the man to help you achieve your goal. Nick will teach beginner and intermediate level guitar or bass and advanced level rock guitar.

Ben is a professional all round musician from Rainham in kent. He has experience in music performance in a range of styles and have gigged and toured both locally in the South East as well as around the UK. His latest credits include touring with the company of 'The Concert They Never Gave' in 2008 (Bill Kenwright Productions) and is currently bass guitarist/singer with The Fecks.

Ben's musical theory knowledge is superb and if you really want to understand chord chemistry and delve deep into the inner workings of the guitar then Ben is your man. Ben will teach begginner, intermediate and advanced level guitar bass and ukulele at his studio in Rainham. He will teach any style from folk through to classical guitar and his patient and personable demeanor will ensure you get the most out of your lessons.
